I design and verify coherence, in every dimension

Coherence isn't an aesthetic. It's what makes a project work: when every choice speaks the same language, the project becomes legible — to the client, to the market, to whoever is investing.

The five lenses

The Coherence Audit

01

Identity

Who the project is when nobody is watching. Is the identity built or simply declared?

02

Space

Space communicates louder than words: paths, light, proportions, thresholds.

03

Material

Every millimetre has value. Material either keeps or contradicts the promise.

04

Experience

The sequence of lived moments: where the experience accelerates and where it cracks.

05

Narrative

One true story. Coherent storytelling doesn't add words: it removes the wrong ones.

Consultant

The Coherence Audit

I assess an existing project via five lenses at the same time and provide a clear map of fractures, strengths and goals.

01

Supervisor

A direction of coherence

I oversee initiatives from inception to completion, from rebranding to repositioning. A coherence-oriented approach that keeps all choices — spatial, material and communicative — within the same tale.

02

Evaluator

Before launching, before investing

Before launching or investing in premium-segment initiatives and startups, I examine whether the promise holds. Is the identity built or simply declared? Is the initiative actually speaking the language of the market it is targeting?

03

Why a Coherence Designer

Reading the markets

Thirty years in luxury teach you to recognise weak signals. I don't follow trends: I intercept them where they form.

Three generations, one conversation

X, Millennial, Z: three ways of wanting. Where the three sensibilities meet, a premium project finds its audience.

The right story

Every project has only one true story. Finding it is analysis, telling it is craft.

Clarifications on the discipline and the role

What it means, in practice, to bring coherence to a premium project.

Space, communication, strategy, material: it seems you do very different things. How do they hold together?

They aren't different things: I always propose one thing only — coherence. In the common perception, disciplines are fragmented: whoever designs the space doesn't speak with whoever writes the message, whoever plans it doesn't know the material. I don't multiply services: I unify the direction before the individual languages begin to contradict one another.

What is your actual role within the project?

Understanding and enforcing coherence between the technical side and the message to be conveyed. Depending on the nature of the project, my contribution can vary: I may supervise and validate the work of the teams, or take on directly the creative direction of communication or the design of the spaces. But the constant remains the same: coordinating the professionals involved so that no one loses sight of the whole picture.

Do you overlap with the professionals already appointed?

No, I orient them and protect them. I don't enter into competition with architects, agencies or developers: the best talents benefit from a guidance that clearly defines the semantic and qualitative perimeter within which to move, avoiding dispersion, rework and compromises at the lowest common denominator.

Where does your understanding of the language of luxury come from?

From having paired a life path and experience with rigorous professionalism. Before theorising coherence, I built it with my hands in high-end footwear and manufacturing design: those who have lived the material, the millimetre and production excellence instantly recognise the difference between authentic luxury and a facade fiction.
